I'm checking if anyone has tried this beta on Steam OS and Windows yet. Since the beta isn't open yet, I can't test it myself, but I'm curious if others have experience. I managed to install it on Steam OS today. I also have Windows 11 Pro for workstations set up from an external drive using Steam Deck tools and the missing ACPI drivers. If I gain access to the beta, I plan to run performance tests on both platforms. During testing with World of Warcraft, I noticed better performance in Windows—around 105 FPS compared to about 85 FPS in Steam OS under similar conditions. It's quite interesting since last time I tried it six months ago, Windows lagged significantly behind.
