Last night on the PC, I got the computer version with the game plus expansion. For the PS4, it seems you just need to grab the copy and receive the game plus expansion. Regarding the PC box, it mentions an expansion but I’m curious if they’ve upgraded it to a full game or if I’ll have to purchase the base title separately.
Reaper of Souls is a larger expansion pack that goes beyond typical DLC, created by Blizzard to add more content. It works with the older Diablo 3 version, not just the newer D3. Ultimate Evil Edition for PS4/XB1 combines D3 and RoS into one game, simplifying the process for console users and saving space on their drives by eliminating the need to install the base game separately before adding the expansion.
