I've seen powerline WiFi range extenders on Amazon before. Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/Zyxel-Powerline-W...ref=sr_1_7
I also used it for testing from EMOS, specifically the emGO model. Likely similar devices exist from other manufacturers. Its main purpose is to extend your range, but it can also act as: - WiFi AP - a router - a receiver or transmitter for systems with just a LAN port. One interesting aspect was its ability to connect via powerline wires, using those cables as antennas. This gave it impressive range and signal strength, even surpassing the RT-AC87U, which remains one of the top ASUS routers today. The emGO device costs around 30 euros, but it doesn’t actually send signals through wires—it lacks that capability.
