Avoid using torrents right away. Have you heard about the many issues with crypto mining bugs on sites like Pirate Bay? It’s a dangerous environment for downloading files. You should get your games and other content safely through official channels. Either way, consider reinstalling Windows to be certain everything is intact.

I became really frustrated over the past couple of weeks because I suddenly faced the same problem again. Torrent clients would freeze my PC (Mouse/KB), YouTube, Twitter videos, even Microsoft Edge and Teams would cause it. I went through all the checks you mentioned, adjusted BIOS settings, but since the PC is new and runs any game at the highest detail, I still couldn’t play YouTube normally. Then I came across this article: https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-10-wat...os-freeze/. Step number 4 seemed to help me resolve it. Thanks for sharing, and sorry for bringing it up again.
