Over a month of regular operation my machine suddenly powers off without warning. I’ve ruled out the UPS and wall outlet by testing them with different units. The issue isn’t caused by stress on the computer—my CPU and GPU ran Cinebemch r20 and Heaven benchmarks, and shutdowns happen randomly whether I’m gaming or just using the desktop. Specs: Powerspec 80+ gold 650W PSU, Ryzen 3700X RT 2060, Trident Z Neo 32GB, 3600MHz.
Have you verified the CPU and GPU temperatures, along with RAM utilization?
Trying to fix this will be a hassle, a bad boot is simple—replace a component, test it, see if it works. I think the power supply might be the issue. Instead of a full disassembly, just swap the PSU and check the behavior. After that, clean up the setup, confirm everything is correctly positioned, avoid shorts at the motherboard mounts, then reinstall the CPU, RAM, and so on.
