Recently I upgraded my PC with a new CPU, motherboard, RAM, and fans. After replacing the components, it wouldn’t boot because the RAM was faulty. Then I reinstalled the old parts, but the system would crash when loading games like Overwatch. Sometimes I can play for a short time before it freezes again. It seems fans would spin extremely fast or the game would end abruptly without any warning, like it just shut down. I’m really struggling and need help.

Begin by checking the existing components and comparing them to the new ones. Signs of a hardware issue include black screens or fans reaching 100% speed.

The previous hardware includes a Ryzen 5 3600, rx 6600xt, M-series B450 Tomahawk Max, a 550w 80+ bronze powerspec system with 16GB 3200GHz RAM, Ryzen 5 7600x, ASUS B650-plus Prime, and a Lian Li LAN Cooler 2 case. The updated setup features a Ryzen 5 7600x, ASUS B650-plus Prime, and new fans from Hitape 12F. I disassembled the old board, swapped everything in, and reinstalled the components. Now the system crashes frequently. Only the new fans remain installed. @CommanderAlex

Have you attempted to work outside the enclosure and attempt a POST? Consider adding it on top of the motherboard box without placing it inside.

I’ll attempt this soon and let you know the outcome. Also, I resolved the PC crashing issue using the old components.
