I assembled my initial computer and turned it on. It started up, but then it would shut down again. When I pressed the power button, it remained active, though the GPU fans didn’t turn on.

GPU cooling fans might remain still under light/no-load conditions, allowing passive cooling. Check your hardware details. Ensure the power button connects properly to the correct motherboard header. The power and reset pins are often near each other, making it easy to mix them up.
