Device stops responding after falling asleep
I experienced frequent crashes before they seemed resolved. Now my computer won’t power on at all. The hard drives spin, but the fans stay off. After a short delay, it crashes and restarts repeatedly, then restarts again before finally booting up. It’s frustrating because I can’t save my work every time. Recently, I upgraded to new components—Ryzen 5 3600X, an Asrock B450M Pro4 Rev2.0, 16GB dual channel DDR4, and Windows 10. My current setup is a Jawa Former model with an i7-860 core, P7H55-M LX board, Quad channel DDR3, 16GB low-density RAM, and the same OS. I’m trying to figure out why it’s behaving this way without any warning or logs.
Avoid clearing space and creating another partition. Instead, install the OS there and adjust the boot loader to remove the previous entry. Manually transfer programs, but be aware it could fail if registry changes aren't supported. The system will likely remain unstable due to driver and power issues, as it's set for hardware no longer present. Run SFC /scannow and chkdsk C: /x /r in admin mode—it usually works or doesn’t work at all.
