WiFi functions properly when the device uses battery power. The issue arises when plugging in the laptop to a power outlet. On the WiFi settings, it shows connected, but there’s no internet access. When the laptop is unplugged from power, WiFi works normally via LAN cable, regardless of charging status. I’m not sure what’s happening.
The situation is reversed: charging is active yet no internet access, and the gateway ping fails. Taking the charger out resolves the issue instantly. FML
