I don't recall it being especially effective. Your setup is a compact design with extra limitations. From the image, it seems cables might be significantly limiting airflow. How many intake and exhaust fans are you currently using?

This seems quite lacking for the system's requirements. I’d suggest adding more air volume. I can’t locate your specific case on Google, does it have side intake vents? Maybe we can install a 120mm fan to the side.

It seemed like the 70C was running on RAM, not the CPU. It’s probably because it’s running hot and your whole setup is really tight with lots of cables and little ventilation.

Medion MT5, many images I see of the case have identical rear but some show a different front plate. I think I might try removing the unused CD and DVD drive. Can’t get too hot, right?

It doesn’t seem well suited for a 165-watt CPU. I highly suggest installing a 120mm intake fan. If necessary, customize the case to ensure adequate airflow.

I attached the 70mm high RPM fan using some thin screws, but I might need to make adjustments.

3800-4000 on cjr assuming artificial limitation to 1.4v or slightly higher, though these values rarely reach that level. 3733 tops on c die is a significant oversight as it’s far beyond the expected range and would likely be inefficient to adjust. Since 3600 is already nearing the limit, tuning below 1.35v seems necessary due to scaling effects. Higher clocks and voltages mean lower voltage output, which isn’t a major concern unless temperatures rise too much. At 70°C it’s already quite high, and 3600 is close to the breaking point, so a fan over the RAMs would help. This should bring temps down to around 40°C or lower, possibly 50°C at worst if airflow is restricted. These components aren’t extremely difficult to cool given the voltage and speed, though 2.3v at 2832MHz is quite intense. In the photo, a fan blowing over the RAMs looks like it’s drawing in some hot CPU air, but even at the end of the fan, the RAMs feel warm to the touch.

In the worst situation, use 3200MHz CL16-18-18, and if cooling returns to 3600MHz CL-18-22-22, that image seems like Buildzoida Office! :3

70mm fans will struggle on their own even at high speeds. I recommended a minimum of 120mm due to the large internal volume it can handle. A smaller fan spinning fast won't spread air as effectively.
