I found the reason behind the problems with my Ryzen 5900X. By turning off the four-core option, the memory sticks stopped failing at 3600MHz even when the system warmed up. Running at 3200MHz still worked despite the temperature rise. Before anyone suggests increasing the voltage, it’s a bad move with these memory modules—especially with C-DIMM and CJR types, so it’s not a safe option. My main concern is whether I should stick with 3200MHz until the cooling improves.

Linpack isn't meant for real-world scenarios, do you face RAM or power issues during normal operation? It seems limiting power consumption would be more helpful, especially under multicore tasks.

Currently the game crashes with a BSOD and several 12-vores are running. I've boosted the fans and turned off 4 cores. From what I recall, with just 2 cores there was no problem, but with 4 it seems I need to lower the frequency to 3600MHz CL18-22-22 and check.

Did you adjust the voltage levels? The temperatures are being monitored. Running four sticks at 3600 or 3200 might not be ideal, and 3000 seems safer.

They appeared normal at 3600MHz, though testing in memtest86 would only confirm stable operation under typical conditions. CPU readings show 70°C during gaming, but I’m uncertain about temperatures with air cooling at 99%. IMG_20240703_164630_458.jpg

70C is quite low. The BSOD likely points to RAM problems—consider reducing the clock speeds. Your cooler needs improvement; a good option is a solid Noctua 90mm or similar.

The cooler is designed for FX-8370 and AMD 125w with a quiet thermal solution. I'll test the RAM, try 3600MHz during regular use, and check performance. Don't exceed 3200MHz if it doesn't work.

However, running at full throttle with 5900x power at stock settings results in only 160 watts—contrary to what I expected, since mine could reach up to 220 watts on a 280AIO.

I think the issue comes from the low-quality DAC capping at around 3600. I've heard that scaling it down to 1.3x and slightly reducing the gain by 1 can help. This should improve timing performance and give more flexibility for temperature/voltage variations, which is a good approach. It seems like the problem isn't with your limiter, but with the hardware itself.

The Kingston page claims they manage high temps, but the G.SKILL site doesn’t confirm memory specs. I thought they could handle 3600–3800 watts before, but now it’s two sticks with a Ryzen 5. The cooling setup is also less effective.
