My computer is struggling to stay connected to online servers. It began a week after I installed the PC and has remained unstable for the past seven months. Occasionally, every hour or so, the game disconnects or freezes for 10 to 15 seconds—this affects only the gameplay, not players. Discord stops working and then restarts. The Wi-Fi isn’t dropping even when using Ethernet, and I’ve tried an external adapter without success. I suspect the issue might be with my motherboard’s Wi-Fi setup, as I’ve used a different adapter before. I’ve also mentioned power supply concerns because the parts aren’t from a well-known brand and seem to lack sufficient power. It could also relate to the motherboard itself. I’m not very familiar with computer hardware, and the games I play—like Rust—require frequent server downloads and waiting in queues, which makes it hard to enjoy the experience right now.
It seems like this might be a problem with your router. You could try updating the drivers to see if that resolves the issue.
