I've experienced a repeated issue where my PC's power supply suddenly shuts down, either after a month without use or just before the Windows 11 lock screen appears or shortly after turning on the power button. Reseating my CPU seems to postpone the power loss by an unpredictable time. Despite switching to an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon, the problem persists. I'm now considering filing a warranty claim for my motherboard. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Overheating CPU and faulty motherboard are typical causes. Underpowered GPUs can also lead to issues, though a 700-750W setup should handle a GTX1080 easily. NOTE: Surprised you ran Windows 11 on a 2600? Are they still compatible? Updated August 23, 2022 by An0maly_76
