I'm facing some issues after upgrading to an RTX 3060. My PC often shuts down and restarts during intense gaming sessions. Initially, I suspected a power supply problem since it was rated at 500W but the issue persisted. I checked my CPU for bottlenecks and found none. The shutdown seems linked to GPU temperatures, which drop to around 65-75°C, accompanied by a faint audio crack before restarting. After replacing drivers and reinstalling the latest ones, the problem didn't improve. If anyone has advice, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm confused about what's happening despite not making any changes to the new graphics card. Thank you for your help! I'll share my specifications below for better clarity.

Checked the BIOS/chipset drivers and the event viewer contents. The updates are applied. This issue occurs during specific gameplay rather than all times.

It seems like you're referring to a PSU reset, and you think the 3060 model isn't that hard to handle.

It seems like a PSU might be the issue, though you mentioned something else already. I’d perform memory tests on your system and GPU to eliminate that. Could you share your CPU temperatures before it starts shutting down?

I just reduced the voltage on my GPU and the computer keeps shutting down. It’s currently at 60 degrees, but I’m not sure if the CPU temperature will help. Could you check the CPU temp now? Thanks!

I switched to an 850W setup and reduced the GPU speed, but it keeps shutting down and resetting even when it’s warm, especially around 60 degrees. There are occasional audio glitches about an hour before it powers off.

I'll review it, but I've already tested it on my CPU and the system remains stable even at 92 degrees.

GPU drivers are current. I haven’t installed a chipset update yet, but I’ll give it a shot. It only works in games that need high performance. With Overwatch, Valorant, and Call of Duty it’s fine, but when I try Warzone 2 or Star Wars Battlefront it crashes even at 60 degrees after my undervolt settings.
