Hi everyone, Been trying to figure this for a while now, but if I touch the top of my case (or sometimes just walk near my tower) my screens go black, the ram RGB goes off, and the fans power down, but the GPU continues to display as if it is getting power. I have to hard restart my PC to get it back up and running. CPU: Intel i9 12900K (not currently overclocked) AIO: Fractal Design Celsius+ S36 Dynamic RAM: 2x 8GB Viper Blackout 3600Mhz MOBO: Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4 GPU:EVGA GeForce RTX 28000 Super SSD: ADATA SU800 SSD2: WD - BLACK SN750 1TB PSU: EVGA 850W GA CASE: Fractal Design Meshify 2 This is a custom built PC (my first one). I have checked all the connectors and everything i can think of. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks!

Use a $10 GFCI tester at your wall outlet to verify safety.

I’m sure I can handle that. However, I’ve relocated since setting up this PC, and it’s performed the same in both homes. This leads me to believe the issue might be related to the case or the computer itself.

I'm from North Carolina and experienced moderate to high moisture levels. That old computer didn't have any issues with it.

The setup remains intact even when relocated within the same house. Changing the location—like shifting it from a carpeted spot to a tiled one—doesn’t alter its persistence. It depends on whether the components are reused from a previous configuration or if they’re new. The motherboard standoffs could be either brass mounts you install yourself or small bumps roughly the size of a nickel.

A new situation was encountered without prior use. The PC rests on my desk. I might relocate it to a hardwood surface to test its effect. The standoffs are the typical default units included with the motherboard and case that were the bumpers. I didn’t install them myself.
