Hello, Issue: When starting the PC, the CPU fan activates and then shuts off instantly, no audible signal or beep. Troubleshooting Steps Taken: First I reset the CMOS, but the problem persisted. Then I removed all components except the CPU, cooler, motherboard, and power supply, yet it continued. Next, I asked a friend to lend his PSU, assuming my own lacked sufficient power delivery causing the issue, so I built a test setup with the new PSU and all components working. When I reinstalled everything inside the case and powered on again, the fan still flickered on and off. I suspected loose connections or short circuits, so I moved the motherboard, CPU, and cooler outside the case while keeping the PSU inside. After that, the same flickering occurred. Finally, I created another test setup just in case I damaged something, but the system still booted and operated normally. So, to clarify : - Everything built inside case, power on for a few secs then dead - Rebuilt it outside the case with a different PSU, everything fine - Puts everything inside the case (I assume with the original EVGA psu), trouble again - Rebuilt it outside the case except the PSU (I assume with original EVGA psu), trouble - Rebuilt it outside the case with the PSU (I assume with original EVGA psu), everything fine Did I got that correct ?
Sure, just a quick moment. The different PSU corresponds to the EVGA PSU, looking back I don't know why I didn't test my original PSU but thought all PSU tests should be done with the working EVGA unit. Sorry for any mix-up—please list the EVGA one in the parts list since that's what I'm currently testing because I'm confident it works. Yep. Yep. Yep.
