Last week my PSU failed, but yesterday I got a new one. Today my computer restarted unexpectedly (Time 3/4/2023 9:27:32 PM – only happened once). It was running in eco-mode and I turned it off for troubleshooting. Anyone know how to fix this?

The screen stopped working suddenly, without any notice (such as a power cut).

I don't have access to your current context or system logs. Please check the Windows Error Reporting tool directly for details about what was happening at that moment.

It could just be a random occurrence like a power surge or software glitch, especially since this has happened only once. Consider disabling the auto-restart feature after a system failure—it won’t solve problems but allows the system to log what might have caused it. An automatic reboot stops Windows from reporting the issue, leaving you uncertain about the cause. Additionally, if Windows 10 is running, the frequent reboots under Windows 10 are a common problem with many online suggestions, yet no universal fix exists for everyone.

It seemed like a brief interruption occurred, and I was running in UE5. The Windows error reporting tool? It appears to be Event Viewer. If the system restarted without a clean shutdown, this issue might stem from unresponsiveness, crashes, or sudden power loss.

Disabled automatic recovery after system issues. Running on Windows 11, though it's helpful to remember that Windows 10 can experience unexpected restarts!

It seems the system unexpectedly shut down, possibly due to a power issue or hardware failure. The closing of the window might have triggered a Windows update or software-related event. I didn’t mean to imply a power outage occurred; I was just connecting the dots.

It looks like a power issue might be involved too if you haven’t adjusted or undervolted your setup. That’s likely what came up first when searching online.
