Check the top section of the BIOS for "boot" settings. Turn off "Secure Boot," disable "Load Legacy Option Rom," and set "boot list option" to UEFI.

It sounds intriguing. You might fit a solid-state drive with 1tb capacity at 7200 RPM and even upgrade to a brand-new Windows installation. That would be a great option.
