I recently purchased a new PC case to upgrade my setup. I installed the NZXT H7 Flow and began using the computer, which functioned properly for a while. Then I noticed frequent crashes—screen flickering and sudden blackouts. I tried disconnecting the graphics card to see if that would fix things. After reconnecting it, the system booted into Windows but froze after a few seconds, displaying a black screen. I attempted to power it on again, but it didn’t help. I then booted into safe mode and removed the display and graphics drivers, hoping Windows would reinstall them automatically. After restarting, the monitor remained blank. I also heard a sound in my headphones similar to the one from the Windows login screen. I verified all connections, confirmed the HDMI cable worked on the laptop, swapped RAM slots, replaced the RAM, and cleared CMOS—still no improvement. I’m seeking advice from others who might have faced similar issues. My components are: motherboard Gigabyte B550 AORUS Elite V2 (rev 1.2), CPU Ryzen 5 3600, GPU RTX 3070, power supply Corsair 850W, RAM Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 2x8GB.
Everything functions properly in safe mode. I might consider updating the BIOS and verify if any of my motherboard choices are wrong. It seems an IGP to AGP conversion could be necessary.

When no iGPU is available, you won’t be able to set it as the main display. This applies to Intel series F processors too. Updating the BIOS via USB demands a FAT32 drive and a specific file name. The process may take several minutes. Now, let's address your concerns. Are you able to reach the BIOS interface? Also, did you take the CPU out of its socket during the case swap? Your processor could be dislodged from the socket due to the movement and might need repositioning. Be careful not to pull too hard on the cooler—you risk damaging the pins if you force it out.

When attempting to flash the BIOS, I confirmed the USB drive uses the FAT32 format and renamed it to GIGABYTE.bin. Despite this, the BIOS flash button didn’t illuminate a red light as expected. I didn’t replace the CPU during the case swap, but I’ll verify proper installation. Accessing the BIOS failed entirely. I’m considering swapping GPUs with friends’ units and will explore motherboard replacement if needed.
