The window was left open on a chilly evening. I haven’t used the computer since then and noticed it only powers on briefly before shutting off. I’ve experienced issues with the power button before, so I’m concerned it might be the same again. There’s a possibility condensation is inside, but I thought it would have cleared up over the past couple of days. Would it help to leave the heater running for a day to remove any moisture, or are there other steps you could try? Thanks for your assistance.
Did the computer run while the night was chilly with the window left open? Have you switched it on since then?
The computer was completely off throughout. I attempted to power it on again today.
Condensation happens only when your PC is significantly cooler than the surrounding air. It’s unlikely you saw any condensation. You might want to check by opening the case to confirm it’s dry.
