Hello, your experience with the 3090Ti is understandable. After trying a 1000W power supply and it didn’t fully resolve the problem, you might be questioning whether the upgrade was sufficient. It’s possible that the issue stems from other factors like GPU overheating, driver conflicts, or insufficient cooling, rather than just power delivery. Consider checking temperatures, updating drivers, or testing with a different PSU if available.

I don’t have access to your PC’s current temperatures or full specifications. Could you check your system settings or use a monitoring tool to get that information?

Recent adjustments after some trials with underclocking reveal persistent shutdown issues. Likely the problem lies with the GPU or motherboard.

It would be challenging to resolve because there could be many possible causes. You’ll need to test the graphics card on a new operating system without a pre-installed GPU, then try it on another machine equipped with suitable components for a 3090ti. If the problem persists, you might need to consider returning the device. You’ve likely already attempted lowering power and clock speeds, but even success doesn’t guarantee the hardware is defective.

Absolutely, this needs immediate attention. Ensure the secondary machine has a solid PSU. Also, verify if your graphics card supports GPU BIOS—if yes, toggle it and retry.

I purchased a replacement adapter for the 3090 to the PSU since the included one had unusual white spots near the end of the cable, possibly indicating burn marks. I’ve read online that these adapters can be quite delicate, so I’ll test it and if it doesn’t resolve the issue, I might consider returning the GPU.

Check if you're connecting individual PCI-E 8-pin cables or linking them together in a chain. It's advised to employ three distinct PCI-E 8-pin cables.
