My device unexpectedly powers down without warning. Restarting requires shutting it off, suggesting a motherboard issue, likely related to the Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX model. The problem started with BIOS updates and lessened after switching to F6 BIOS. It still occurs intermittently, about once or twice each hour. After upgrading to BIOS F21, the issue persisted. Overclocking RAM seems to make it worse, while lighter tasks like document writing or web browsing don’t trigger the shutdown. This points toward a power delivery concern, possibly insufficient voltage from the motherboard to the RAM. I've changed the PSU but it didn't resolve the issue. Current specs: CPU Ryzen 7900x, RAM FURY Beast DDR5-6000, BIOS version F21, GPU ASUS GeForce RTX 4080. Power supply Corsair 1000W.

It seems like a PSU issue, often causing low-power components to fail. Consider getting your PSU back under warranty. However, first try a different PSU before proceeding!
