System needs evaluation to identify the issue. Check power connections and battery condition. Observe any error codes or unusual behavior. Test with different RAM modules to isolate the problem. Review BIOS settings for recent changes. Monitor fan operation before and after power cycles. Consult documentation or forums for similar cases.

Reset the system settings. However, to reach the CMOS battery on a desktop, you need to take apart the computer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEk0O00vAIo

I've noticed RAM can cause problems during POST. My 5900X refused to POST with my RAM at the rated speed and the timings suggested by the board manufacturer. Also, DOCP didn't recognize the DIMMs at the recommended speeds of 16-18-18-36, though some unusual 20-20-20-40 did work. At those speeds it POSTed and functioned normally. It might be due to dust in the SODIMM slot blocking connection or communication. In the worst case, the RAM you used could have damaged the CPU's memory controller. Unless the machine boots with RAM only in a secondary slot, replacing the processor seems necessary. Edited February 18, 2023 by An0maly_76 Updated with more details
