Device Powering Down Unpredictably
Device Powering Down Unpredictably
My computer has been shutting down unexpectedly and that’s worrying. It happens when starting up, occasionally during a game, sometimes while browsing, without any clear pattern. There’s no sign of overheating or excessive power usage since temperatures are normal and the PSU fan is working properly. I’ve updated Windows, installed custom drivers, ran a virus scan with Aura, switched my power adapter directly to the wall rather than through the Anker surge protector, and my friend suggested it might be an issue—but I don’t think so. Additionally, my RGB fans start flashing during startup until I open Windows. This situation is really stressful. Please help me, thank you in advance. You’re doing great.
my dad had the same issue, its probable that its the auto-reboot setting enabled........heres how to disable it......go to start menu---type in "run" and click on the "run" app, then type in the "run" window, "sysdm.cpl" and ENTER----this will open a new window. click on the tab labeld "advanced", then click on settings.....that will open a new window. -----go to the check-box labeled "automatic restart" or somthing like that and make shure that its UN-CHECKED. that will hopefully be the answer to your issue!
There are three adjustment options available...the one at the bottom. Let me know if you need more details!
The suggestions only affect how Windows reacts during a BSOD. The "automatic restart" option will cause Windows to restart itself after a crash, otherwise it remains stuck in the crash window. It does not shut down without rebooting. You can turn it back on right away. Please verify CPU and GPU temperatures using hwinfo. To check GPU stress, run Furmark and monitor temperatures with hwinfo; the GPU temperature appears in Furmark results.
Thank you for the feedback. The implementation is working well, and we'll keep improving.
Also implemented and performing well so far. Appreciate the update.
I was working with Armoury Crate for temperature monitoring. It stops working without a reboot and I can restart right away, though it sometimes cuts during startup and needs me to click again. I plan to download the firmware and verify.
