It doesn’t say much about it—should be compatible with Starfield. My setup has an RX 6800 XT and it works at those temperatures. Probably something related to the game itself, not just the hardware. I also have 32GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and I think the main parts matter most.

The 'system' is trying to guide you on what it expects you to think about the RX 6800 XT. It’s known for drawing too much power when under or at standard power supplies and may trigger current protection. Most models need between 750-850W, so if yours matches that range, try reducing the power limit or TDP to around 75% and check if crashes stop occurring. This issue might appear in certain games but not others.

Reducing it to around 75% may still trigger crashes in the same software. This adjustment could lower performance slightly—perhaps by about 15%—but it might help if you want to keep that setting or upgrade your power supply.

Keeping the base or boost settings unchanged can lower temperatures by approximately 10°C without impacting speed or stability. For example, with the Sapphire NITRO+ 6800XT, you can raise the minimum frequency to 2500 MHz, increase max frequency to 2600 MHz, and reduce voltage to 1.150V. This should help cut temperatures significantly while maintaining stability.

You're safe because you can always undo changes, and it's software-based. Are you reducing the voltage or raising it? That way, nothing should be damaged. I'm using the Tuning menu in AMD Adrenalin. Just a screenshot from the web... I'm currently at work.

Screenshot accepted. Settings might have been reset, but the system still crashed during the new free Emergency version. Your PSU seems insufficient. When loading 3D Mark, it consumes around 550 watts total.
