I recently enhanced my graphics card. Many discussions mention overheating, but that’s not the issue. My temperatures stay around 30°C when idle and rise to 55-60°C during heavy use. When the computer freezes, it becomes unresponsive to the mouse or keyboard, and the audio plays in a repetitive pattern—like buzzing or drilling sounds, prompting me to reset it. This problem occurs in games such as Goat Simulator, Hitman Absolution, Bulletstorm, Alice Madness Returns, and Crysis 3, freezing most quickly (sometimes within minutes, sometimes hours). In some cases it doesn’t freeze at all, but in about 95% of instances it does. It doesn’t happen in Left 4 Dead 2, Portal 1 & 2, DmC Devil May Cry, or even Battlefield 3 and Tomb Raider when I push the graphics settings high. Since I don’t play other titles, I’m only able to investigate this one. I’ve tracked it in Crysis 3 using MSI Afterburner—there were moments when my GPU reached 100% usage for a short time without issues, then dropped to around 30%, still functioning well. When it froze, the load was near 66%. My drivers are current and there’s no dust buildup. Here are my specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/borko3fkovix/saved/MzfxFT

Do you have a previous GPU available for installation? Is it correctly positioned? Does it have enough power? Are the latest drivers set up?

I don't, though all the old GPUs I used to work well, yeah... probably.

Run a test benchmark to check for stability. If it fails, remove the GPU and use the built-in graphics. If it works, the GPU was the issue.

Discreet graphics refer to subtle or understated visual elements designed to blend in and avoid drawing excessive attention.

Intel CPUs typically include integrated graphics. These built-in GPUs are often of poor quality. The motherboard you mentioned features a VGA output on its I/O section. Disconnect the GPU and connect the monitor to the VGA port on the motherboard. Restart the system and run the test again. If the issue persists, the problem likely lies elsewhere.

I faced the same issue, repeatedly reinstalling drivers only to end up starting from the beginning. It turned out my 680 was the cause, they claimed it under warranty and provided a replacement. Have you attempted driver reinstallation before? Did you remove the previous drivers properly?
