Device not recognizing GPU
I just completed assembling my new PC. It powers on, but the GPU isn’t showing up. It gets power and turns on, yet it doesn’t appear in Task Manager or the Nvidia control panel. The display port is connected to the GPU and I see output on the monitor. Whenever I launch a game, it crashes. I tried reseating the graphics card three times, but that didn’t help. After reseating, I forgot to connect the PCIE cable, so the card displayed a red LED indicating it wasn’t plugged in. I also had difficulty inserting the GPU into the slot—it didn’t produce the usual click sound. Please let me know if anyone can assist.
