Unknown USB Device (Device descriptor request failed). Hello everyone, current setup: Asus TUF B550-F Gaming Ryzen 7 3800X with Gigabyte 6750XT Crucial Vengeance LPX 4000MHz (4x8), Samsung 970 SSD (2x2TB) and Corsair keyboard/mouse. Windows 11 Pro, BIOS 3205. I’m experiencing issues with my PC and have been getting random USB sound alerts indicating an unknown device is connected or disconnected. These beeps occur intermittently, and I can’t pinpoint the source. When they happen, I sometimes see an error in Device Manager. All drivers are up to date except for the USB devices, which are just my mouse and keyboard. Any suggestions or assistance would be really helpful. Thanks for your time and support.

Click the "error device" and check for vendor ID... anything that might assist in identification. It could be your mouse or keyboard, but you'd likely notice... the key is it's "something" and the details are stored on your PC, whether in Device Manager or Event Viewer...
