Device not recognized during USB connection.
Hey there! It seems like the Windows device is acting up with repeated connection/disconnection sounds. I’m not sure why it keeps sending you alerts even after I disabled the port in Device Manager and removed the front USB from the motherboard. The yellow error mark no longer appears in Device Manager, which isn’t very helpful. I’ve checked several tutorials and installed fresh Windows 10 drivers from the manufacturer, but USB support still seems limited—only Windows 7 drivers are available. Any suggestions? Should I try the Windows 7 USB drivers? It’s getting really frustrating.
Have you experimented with turning it off and on again? You might also want to use the Windows troubleshooter, which I believe can be helpful for port debugging.
I'm on the verge of discarding it and getting a replacement, but it didn't work.
It could be a faulty USB cable or a loose connection causing the problem.
It’s likely to help, but you’ll need to confirm the device is still active. Disabling it in Device Manager and removing the front USB port should reduce or stop the unwanted notifications.
You should have a method to prevent this from causing you stress.
It's definitely a faulty USB controller and/or ports, nothing you can do unless replacing the motherboard, or you messed up with Windows drivers? A reinstall may fix it You could also try a Linux Distro via USB drive (if that works) and check the dmesg utility to understand what kind of error it is
