I just changed my graphics card from a GeForce 1660 Ti to a 4070. The drivers are installed, but the NVIDIA control panel shows the 1660 Ti instead of the new one. I’m having trouble locating a solution for this mismatch.

Download the application named DDU, then open it in safe mode. Enter msconfig, navigate to Boot, check the Safe Boot option, and confirm if you wish to restart. You may restart after ensuring the 4070 graphics driver is saved from GeForce.com. Once back in safe mode, launch DDU, select GPU and NVIDIA, and click Clean and Restart. Before proceeding, disable Safe Boot to prevent it from reverting. After that, return to msconfig, boot again, and uncheck the Safeboot box, then click Exit without restart. Finally, click Clean and Restart. After completion, install the 4070 driver from the NVIDIA website. You should be all set.
