Hey, I had a rough day and I'm done with this nonsense. I bought a WMR headset from DELL, a 1080ti, and a PCI-e to USB 3.0 adapter. After installing the graphics card and the USB adapter, I connected the headset and Windows Mixed Reality Portal said my system was too weak. I went to settings, switched to developer mode, and skipped the driver stuff. It told me I needed to download something, but got an error when trying again. I checked a few times on the web and found people had succeeded by updating to the latest Windows version. I reinstalled Windows Pro L from the USB, fixed all drivers, and plugged in the headset again—still nothing. I went to Device Manager and saw (image1), so I thought about reinstalling both Windows and Pro L because I wasn't sure. Please help, BlackCatTB

The L version lacks the Windows mixed reality portal, and it turns out CPUs missing the "new" AVX architecture won’t run properly, so the controllers won’t work and the headset won’t activate. Now I need to purchase a new CPU, RAM, and a motherboard.
