I recently purchased an ASUS TUF Gaming A15 and was surprised when I tried to install Windows—it only offered an Ethernet connection. I assumed a driver issue might be the cause. After finishing the installation, I downloaded drivers via Ethernet, restarted the PC, but nothing happened. That felt odd. Then I checked for a WiFi card, removed it, cleaned it, reinstalled, and still got no signal. Finally, I put the card back in. When I turned on the computer, it still wouldn’t connect. I’m really confused. Anyone have any advice or suggestions?

You installed the drivers in one of three ways: via Windows Update, from the Asus website, or using the official Asus software. Unless you did it manually, they might not be up to date or could have missed some. Automatic updaters and Windows Update can sometimes be unreliable. In particular, Windows Update is often problematic for driver updates. I wouldn't depend on it. If you haven't done so, visit the Asus support page, download and install the driver yourself for your WiFi/Bluetooth. Issues with your WiFi card usually trigger errors about hardware problems or no device detected. After a successful installation, things should function properly.

I thought I was lost but then I looked up the serial number instead of the product name. It gave me a totally new outcome compared to before, and it actually fixed the issue. Thanks a ton!
