Device malfunctioning unexpectedly during use.
I have two Ubiquiti APs installed—one AP AC Lite and another AP AC Pro. Both share the same network SSID: our home WiFi and a guest WiFi. It functions smoothly when everything is set, but I’ve noticed a recurring issue. On my Galaxy S10+ and Note 10+, the connection drops unexpectedly, preventing me from reconnecting until I manually reset it by clicking “forget network” and then re-entering the password. The reconnection takes anywhere from a few seconds to up to an hour. The auto-connect to 4G when the WiFi becomes unstable is disabled, which seems unrelated. Have anyone else experienced this problem? Could the channel settings be affecting performance? I’m hoping this can be resolved so everything works reliably. Thanks!
I haven't worked with any Ubiquiti APs before, but I think they likely have an error or event log. It would be helpful to identify which device is triggering the timeout if possible.
Identify the connected equipment for these APs—specify switch, router, modem models. Confirm static IP assignments have been set. Ensure wireless security settings match across all APs. Verify broadcast channels don’t conflict. Perform a WiFi analyzer scan and capture screenshots of the 2.4GHz and 5GHz tabs plus network details.
Hooked up to the router from our ISP. Its a tecnicolor i think. No because i dont know the login credentials of it and the web control from our ISP is just garbage. If there is any other way that i am unaware of please tell me Yes I did and they were in fact overlapping. I changed it now, seems to work so far. I will keep you updated!
It's a Technicolor model TC7230. Connecting to http://192.168.0.1 displays the following.
