Device malfunction following cable connection.
i was attempting to connect my pc via cable, but i disconnected the gpu, cpu, motherboard, sata drive, and nearly all other cables except the cpu fan. now i'm trying to start it, yet it won't turn on. i have two years of experience and haven't encountered this issue before. i tried shorting the power pins, but it didn't help. could you check if there were any overlooked components or connections that might have affected the startup? your system specs are: i3 10100f, 16gb ddr4 ram, asus prime h510m-e (no onboard lights), and an rtx 5060 ti 16gb a 650w psu. everything seemed normal before i removed the cables.
Check if the power switch at the back of the PSU is activated. Verify all cables are securely connected and plugged in. - Motherboard - Smaller motherboard power port - GPU - Any connections to storage devices. Make sure to inspect the power cable from the wall to your PC and the power outlet. Disconnect all USB peripherals, such as the mouse, keyboard, and any wireless receivers.
Start with a simple cardboard box. Try connecting components to see if it powers on. No specific instructions.
