Recently, I bought an Optiplex 990 with a 500W power supply. I assumed it would work with my R7 260X. After updating the BIOS and switching to a 600W PSU, it still wouldn’t work. I checked if the PCIe slot was faulty by connecting another PC, which recognized the card. When I reinserted the 260X, it appeared in BIOS at startup but vanished when entering Windows. After rebooting, it disappeared from BIOS entirely. I also tried Linux to test recognition, but it didn’t work. Everything seems fine with the GPU, PSU, and slot—what’s going on?

The computer is starting up and displaying the image on your screen while connected to the 260X.

I connect the 260X to another PC and a monitor, it works fine. But when I plug it into the Optiplex 990 and link it to the monitor, nothing happens; only the built-in graphics function properly.
