Device lacks internet access, audio input, and cannot locate external hard drive.
Hey there. Let me go through what happened step by step. Today I tried overclocking my CPU, but I’m not sure what I did wrong. When I switched back to Windows 8.1, I couldn’t connect to the internet using my networking card. I connected via Ethernet, but still nothing worked. The internet icon is next to an audio icon—usually it shows headphones, but there’s nothing. I figured installing the driver for my networking card would fix it. However, when I tried connecting an external hard drive through any port, the disk management screen didn’t recognize it. What should I do? Is this related to the motherboard? Thanks. P.S. I’m in a hurry because this is my only computer and I need my phone right away. My parts and motherboard are all listed under my signature.
I don’t have any drivers because I can’t access the internet, and I also lack an optical drive since I’m using an H440.
You can locate the AHCI settings in the device's control panel or system settings menu.
Remove the battery from the board, leave it without power for five minutes, then reinstall it.
