Hello, after a recent W10 reinstall, I observed an unknown 'ITE Device' appearing right after booting into Windows. It has remained in the devices list ever since, with no clear method to remove or disable it. Removing it via the Devices menu or the old Control Panel leaves it 'unplugged', then it restarts itself after a short time. I even tried disconnecting all USB peripherals to rule out that cause, but it still shows up. I checked the Device Manager and saw a 'USB Input Device' entry, which seems confusing given all my connected devices. I have no idea what this device is or how to resolve the issue.

As long as it doesn’t cause any problems with your PC, I’d let it stay, since taking it out might damage something.

Unusual gadget. You'll find more details here. You can modify the text file and choose the device you're referring to. Feel free to share if you wish.

I reviewed those Reddit discussions once more, and someone noted that GB boards might manage their RGB features via USB—though it’s unclear if that’s feasible. Out of interest, I turned off the motherboard LEDs in the BIOS and removed the device after restarting. After a few minutes, it didn’t reconnect properly when the lights came on. I’ll keep this logged in case it resumes, but I’m confident it’s resolved.

It's typical for different suppliers, such as Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0b05:19af ASUSTek Computer, Inc., to use various internal buses. USB seems to be the most adaptable option.
