Hello everyone, my non-overclocked RTX 2070 (MSI RTX 2070 DUKE OC) began showing performance drops and eventually stopped increasing frames. This is the first time I've encountered such problems. The core clock stays at 300MHz regardless of adjustments. I've looked online for possible solutions but found nothing useful. I've tried changing power settings, updating and reinstalling drivers (including using 3D Guru's DDU), overclocking, and resetting everything to defaults. Meanwhile, the sensors show it's drawing over 550W while only the GPU is visible in GPU-Z. Voltages seem incorrect and everything feels off. In short, I've formatted the SSD and reinstalled Windows, but it didn't resolve the issue. After testing on a friend's machine, the same problems persisted. I ruled out the PSU as the cause. It still runs, but low-end games are extremely slow even at 300MHz. I'm unsure what to do next—anyone have advice or suggestions?
It looks like the sensor might be faulty. You could attempt to use another VBIO file here: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/2057...192-180930. If that doesn’t resolve it, reaching out to Msi may be necessary since they might have a custom solution. If none of these work, the problem could be a physical defect.
