Morning enthusiasts, I’m dealing with a curious problem involving my Intel Wireless NIC on the ASRock X399 Taichi motherboard. It’s randomly altering my MAC Address without any apparent cause. I’ve captured several screenshots illustrating how the MAC changes each time I connect to the network. With pfSense firewall in place, this shifting MAC is interfering with my DHCP reservations. I was hoping to use an address ending in .99, but I’ve noticed other endings after observing this behavior. I also checked the Windows 10 WiFi settings to disable Randomize Address, but it was already off. After some research online, I found a guide on spoofing addresses via Device Properties, though there wasn’t a direct option to modify the MAC. The latest Command Prompt images reflect adjustments made in pfSense DHCP Server settings for my device. I’m considering setting up a static IP myself, but I just need to understand why my MAC Address keeps shifting. This is mostly an inconvenience; all I have to do is restart pfSense, set my MAC again, then release and renew the connection. Any advice would be really appreciated!

It seems like you're asking if someone tried to turn something on and then turned it off. Would you like me to clarify or explain what that means?

Also consider the earlier recommendation: update the newest drivers for your wireless adapter. Make sure to obtain the drivers first, then proceed to uninstall the previous ones via Device Manager.

I modified and re-enabled my WiFi card, which caused the MAC address to shift once more. @Falcon1986 I fetched the newest driver from Intel's website, removed the existing one, and installed the new file. The MAC address changed again. I still don't understand why this keeps happening.
