Device halted due to power issues and restarts automatically.
I built my PC from scratch and I’m still learning about it. The components are all installed correctly—GPU, CPU, RAM, cooler, SSD, and power supply look good. When I first put it outside without a case, everything worked fine. Now that I’ve sealed it up, I notice a strange loop where the system powers on, the motherboard lights up with its built-in RGB, and then everything stops. I’ve checked the cables, RAM, GPU, and PSU, and even tried reseating them. The BIOS doesn’t show an iGPU, and the CPU button triggers during booting. It seems like something is stuck or not communicating properly. I’m wondering if the power supply might have failed after ten years of use, or if there’s a wiring issue I haven’t caught yet. Any tips on troubleshooting would be really helpful.
I discovered the issue, the CPU cooler screw came loose and led to a short circuit. I’ll bring it to a repair shop.
