Hey there, so I'm working on setting up my NAS and bought a used motherboard and CPU to kick things off. The problem is, I can't get the system to display or output any video. I've tried all sorts of fixes without success: rearranging everything carefully, plugging the PSU back in, testing RAM in another system (it worked), using different slots for both single and dual channels, clearing the CMOS, changing cables and monitors, unplugging USB drives, storage cards, and even the CPU cooler/fan. I switched the CPU, bought a second processor, and changed the PSU. The only thing that worked was the new motherboard. Now I'm stuck—what else can I do?

Details: CPU – Intel Pentium G4560; Motherboard – ASRock H110M-DVS Rev3.0 (used) and Elite Group H310CH5-M2 (new); RAM – 1x or 2x 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz or a single slower 8GB stick; PSU – small 90W ATX or 250W regular; Storage – 120GB SATA SSD boot drive. I haven't even touched the RAM yet.

Have you checked your monitor and the display cable? Also, did you verify that both power supplies are functioning correctly? It seems like it might not be starting at all. If the fans don’t even move or stop, that points to a power or board issue rather than a display problem.

A BIOS update may be required for the G4560. If the OO never updated the BIOS, the factory settings won<|pad|> can't support this processor. The correct chipset isn't compatible with a G4560.
