Device failure detected, motherboard not powering up.
Hi, I have a Supermicro X7DBE board with two CPUs. The issue is that when I install the CPU into the CPU2 and CPU1 slots, the system doesn't show any video output, even though the green M.ole LED stays on. If I only use the CPU2 slot without CPU1, it works fine—both LEDs are active and the PC boots. I also noticed a difference in the pin height between the CPU1 and CPU2 slots; it seems slightly higher, but it's hard to see clearly. There might be something wrong with the connection or orientation. I've experienced overheating in the CPU1 slot, with the heatsink failing, which caused the PC to fail to power on after a while. After some testing, I found that the motherboard started up normally with 2 Intel Xeon 5450 CPUs, but when I tried it with just one CPU2, it didn't work. Now I'm confused because I bought two identical Xeon 5450 CPUs and got this behavior. What should I do to get it running properly?
