Hello! I recently purchased an HP Z420 Workstation and applied most of the upgrades mentioned in the video. After installing everything and setting up XFX RX58 0, the E5-2687W, and 32GB DDR3 RAM, the system powers on smoothly. However, after a brief wait, the display remains inactive and both the power supply unit and cooling fan spin rapidly. Eventually, I had to unplug it to stop it from overloading. No error codes appear. I’m new to assembling PCs, so I’m unsure what went wrong. I’ve read online that similar issues have been reported, with some pointing to the motherboard and others to faulty RAM. I ended up getting another workstation and returning the first one to confirm. The RAM I bought is brand-new, non-ECC DDR3, but it still won’t boot or show anything after a frustrating week of troubleshooting. If you have any suggestions or solutions, please share. Thanks!
