I bought a z390 Aorus Ultra motherboard recently and when trying to turn it on, the lights flashed white for a moment before nothing happened. I shared a short video of the situation. All my other components worked fine with my Asus Z390-E earlier today, so I’m unsure if the board itself is the issue. My system specs include an i9 9900KF Aorus Z390 Ultra with Corsair LPX 16GB 3000MHz RAM, WD Sn750/Red 8TB NVMe SSD, and a Nvidia RTX 2070 Super from Corsair RM650X. It might be the power supply or the board causing the problem, especially since I haven’t connected the extra 4-pin ATX port. The file attached is Img_2051.MOV.

If you can return the merchandise, you should proceed with the return process.

Received a new unit. I’m hoping it functions properly next time. I’d like to attempt a repair, possibly due to a faulty BIOS.

New components include overvoltage safeguards, preventing damage from unexpected spikes. If needed, return the board for a replacement. Always connect all parts first before connecting the power source and switching it on.

I can't view the video, but are you certain the power is connected correctly to the right board setting? I’ve removed all components from the old case to the new one, including the power and reset connectors, and updated the motherboard accordingly. The setup for my JFP1 board uses pins 5 and 7 for reset, and 6 and 8 for power.

I have confirmed the power is connected correctly. It seems the video isn’t displaying properly. Would it help to switch to a stronger power source? Also, I thought it might be worth considering an upgraded power adapter.

the video was not working for me because the link you provided had an extension that i do not have so it wouldnt play properly for me. your specs seem fine but what has me a little worried was the sound in the video. any kind of sound that is not the fans spinning up when powering on the computer is a bad sign normally

No one turns on, and the pump doesn’t work either. I didn’t realize I was using a Corsair H115i Platinum. It’s strange how everything functioned on my Asus Z390-E board just a few hours ago.
