You’ve resolved the hardware issue but encountered a problem with the CPU debug light during startup. Consider checking the power connections, ensuring the CPU is properly seated, and verifying that the BIOS/UEFI settings are correct. If the light stays on, try resetting the motherboard or consulting the manual for further troubleshooting steps.
I've tested the RAM multiple times, but it still isn't working. Could you clarify what you're referring to by "ATX Power"?
Very unlikely it's the CPU. Remove the board from the case, reinsert the CPU, power it on. Attempt to start by connecting the power pins in short. Expect a RAM error. If that happens, install RAM and it should work again.
Insert the screwdriver between the pins to connect both power pins simultaneously. Just make quick contact and it will initiate the boot process.
You should have taken out the RAM too. Just leave only the CPU connected. If there’s no RAM warning, it means your CPU or motherboard isn’t working properly.
Disconnect the PSU from the wall. Remove the CMOS battery. Disconnect power pins for 10 seconds. Reinsert the CMOS battery. Reattach the PSU to the wall. Attempt to boot. If unsuccessful, it may indicate dead hardware—likely a motherboard rather than the CPU. The CPU is more difficult to disable. The next step is swapping components or sending it to a repair shop for testing.
