Absolutely, it's more than just turning off the system.

My boyfriend's computer would freeze up on the final frame, forcing me to force shut it down. Even though the PSU seems fine, poor power delivery could cause this issue.

It's accurate—I built a test setup using a Corsair CV450 and a Gigabyte AM4 MicroATX B550M motherboard, and everything functioned properly. Perhaps the PSU was the key factor.

I handed the PC over to a local repair shop. Their advice suggested the issue might stem from bad GPU drivers during installation. The card functioned properly when I tried it on my dad's system because those drivers were already set up. They promised to reach out tomorrow or the next day to explain the problem in detail.

After two trips to the repair shop (twice doubted it), I discovered the fix. The issue involved a pair of B450 motherboards paired with a 700 series GPU, causing both GTX 760s to freeze. The fix was adjusting the BIOS settings to switch PCI-e generation from auto to gen 2.0. Since then, everything works perfectly.
