I finished a new SFF rebuild today, but when I tried to power it up, nothing happened. The only indication of activity was a single stick of RAM lighting up and the RGB mousepad turning on. There were no fans spinning or any post visible. Everyone is welcome to help. This is my second attempt; the first one worked so I’m not new to fixing this issue. Parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Rxn8TY The Mobo was a secondhand purchase from an Amazon seller: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083M3P6TR?tag...th=1&psc=1 Custom-sleeved cables came from an Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DBSleevez?ref=...1113339185 I’ll address any questions you have. Thanks ahead of time.
Do you possess the original PSU cables? You might attempt to discharge the CMOS battery for five minutes, reinstall it, and then retry.
I handle it, though there looks like a mismatch between the 10-pin and 18-pin on the PSU side of the 24-pin connector. It’s unclear if everything will fit because the cables are quite rigid. I also have a cablemod set for the PSU. It’s been a long story.
If you have time, consider removing the GPU and connecting it via HDMI/dp on the MB. Test it on your first PC. A BIOS update might be necessary since PC Part Picker doesn't always sync properly after updates. This has happened to me before.
I think I'm a total mess. I accidentally connected the power switch to the wrong port. Appreciate the advice, but I'm feeling pretty upset. Maybe I should just let it all out.
