Device fails to start?
I recently acquired a 5070 Ti and since my previous PSU lacked a PCIe slot, I had to purchase a replacement. After installing it and connecting everything as intended, the system isn’t booting. When I tried to power on the PC, the motherboard lights came on and the CPU cooler displayed a red warning sign. I’m still not sure what caused this issue, especially since I’m still getting familiar with building PCs.
This appears to be a motherboard with an RGB cable visible in the top-right corner. The cooler pump for the CPU is likely connected, as it’s positioned there. The cable you see could be part of the RGB lighting setup.
It was the ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-H Gaming setup, and I linked the two SATA cables using one connection while keeping the RGB cable attached.
Certain hardware units may refuse to power up without the necessary header data, such as a warning indicator on the cooling component.
