Ryzen 1600X Gigabyte AB350-Gaming with 2-8GB RAM, 3600Mhz RAM, Radeon RX 6600, 1-1TB SSD, 1-1TB HDD, 500W power supply. My brother recently got a new 1TB SATA SSD for his PC, which previously had a 1TB HDD. After swapping the drives and installing Windows via USB, the installation repeatedly failed. I removed the SSD and installer from PC-1 and connected them to another machine (PC-2), where I managed to boot and install Windows successfully. I then reinstalled the drive into PC-1, changed the boot order to prioritize the SSD, but still encountered blue screens with multiple error codes each time I tried to boot. The repair tool suggested fixing specific missing files, but the issue persisted. I also attempted safe mode, which only returned the same errors. I've reinstalled Windows 10 media installer on the USB, reused Windows from the SSD, and even used the old HDD to get back online. Despite these efforts, the SSD or HDD never worked properly on PC-1. It consistently displayed the same blue screen errors, looped, or showed a blank screen without any progress. I've spent seven hours trying to fix this, and I'm open to any advice.

I tried both methods, but no matter the options I encounter the same issue—cannot boot to Windows installer.

I used a reliable USB drive and confirmed it’s in good condition.
