My old Toshiba C870 laptop isn't turning on. It displayed a CMOS battery low warning for several days before I had to adjust the time and date settings before it would boot. Recently, after replacing the CMOS battery, I waited an hour but still couldn't get it to start. Now it shows the same warning again, but even after setting time and date, it doesn't boot. I've tried booting from USB and a different hard drive, but nothing works. The laptop battery is now completely dead—it won't power on without being connected, unlike before which was normal. When it does turn on, it just shows a blank screen, then restarts repeatedly with an unresponsive cursor in the top-left corner.
